4worked great
By tsurf1
Telescope worked great. Great starter telescope. Was used to non-removable lenses, but other than that was just fine. Did not come with case pictured though..

3Tripod has ridicules hight
By Bipul
The Tripod is little above waist high when fully extended, making it difficult to use the telescope. You can neither sit on ground or stand to focus or search. You will need a chair or stool for this unless you wanna get some back pain.
The telescope is good for moon / sun but not powerful enough to views other starts and planet. The focal length is only 700mm.

4Good Scope for Beginners
By War Eagle
This scope is great for the price. I used it to watch the transit of Venus and saw a really good image with the included sun filter. I also got to see lots of sunspots, an extra bonus. The scope is very light and easy to manage. The enclosed tripod is sufficient to keep wobble at a minimum. My only caveat would be the eyepiece, which is of inferior quality. If you get this scope, spring for a $30 26mm ploessl eyepiece. It is worth the extra investment.
