Celestron Telescope

I purchased this telescope for my daughter (6 years old) to use for star gazing and general observation. The written setup instructions aren't that clear so utilize the DVD they provide. It's very suitable for the price I paid!

Good Starter Scope

The 7 year old Granddaughter said she was tired of looking at "Big Grass" with the binoculars. Its a good starter to look at craters on the moon. For the price I didn't expect much, but its not bad, and looks great. Should it create future interest then Grandpa might just spring for some better optics as his 6 inch reflector may find a new home, and make room for something bigger and motorized at Grandpa's house. Might just work.

Perfect for price

This was purchased as a gift for my 9yr olf grandson. He loved it and he took it on vacation to Colorado. It was a lot of fun in the mountains. He figured out the focusing with very little help and how to assemble and disassemble to keep it in the case for travel. He uses it at home at the lake where it is not so city lights.
