Nice carrier

Overall this is a nice telescope carrier. My 8SE and the motor attachment fit nicely in the main area. The top includes spaces for other items you may have and this is too a nice feature. I rate this a three for three reasons: (1) in order to gain access to anything within the carrier you have to open it all the way. A zip pocket for papers and such would be very nice; (2) Almost as soon as I took it out of the shipping container one of the zipper handles fell off; (3) Packaging - the case is packaged well; however, if you're at all worried about it being stolen before you have a chance to retrieve it please be advised the outter box has CELESTRON in big bold letters on all four sides. It can't be missed. I also ordered the Nexstar 8SE via Amazon and it was packaged the same way - CELESTRON in big bold letters on all four sides of the box.

Excellent purchase

Tis case really helps manage and transport the many necessary items required to have a rich and exceptional observation experience. The only issue I have with this case, there is no place store the tripod. If there was a place to hook or store the tripod and the shelf it comes with, what a great advantage this would be for moving everything together.

Exactly what you would expect...

It's a carrying case with cusions inside that make carting my 8SE around MUCH easier. Love the cusioned spacers so I can decide how to secure the telescope and the cusioned straps so they won't scratch the unit.
